Rice and Bean Casserole

I found this recipe on Tumblr. (Yes, I tumble) It looked really yummy so I decided to try it out. It was a simple recipe, but when I tasted it, it didn't have enough spices. I added extra chili powder, salt and some chili pepper flakes. I added some more cheese on top, but besides those changes I did everything else as instructed, including the mushrooms. Here is the recipe if anyone is interested. My dad thought that the rice wasn't cooked enough, so I may add more water and steam it longer the next time.

Verdict: Yummy with lots of left overs! I will try a bolder tasting cheese on top next time.
