I finally got around to making my first pie in December. I decided to go with a classic apple pie. I used a flaky pie crust recipe, granny-smith apples and added a secret ingredient to spice up the original recipe. It turned out super yummy, as it got the approval from everyone in the family. Score! It was a success and my sisters and I are currently fighting over what the filling will be in my next pie. Strawberry, blueberry, strawberry blueberry, or maybe even something completely different.
Sorry for the hearts ... I was kinda bored and couldn't figure out what other shape I had the patience for.
Verdict: Delicious and I will definitely be making it again soon.
